Cookie Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. aveniq.co uses a handful of its own first-party cookies for analytics, and nothing else.

In brief

  • Only first-party cookies set by our own analytics. No advertising, social media, or third-party tracking cookies.
  • In the EEA and UK, analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept analytics.”
  • Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can switch it off at any time.
  • The site works the same whether you accept or reject.

Cookies we use

NamePurposeDurationType
__avq_pvidPersistent visitor ID (random UUID). Links sessions from the same browser.365 daysAnalytics
__avq_sidCurrent session ID (random UUID).30 minutes of inactivityAnalytics
__avq_attrFirst-touch attribution: source, medium, campaign, landing page, first visit time.90 daysAnalytics
__avq_engEngagement state: sessions, pages, last visit, provisional engagement tier.730 daysAnalytics
__avq_consentVisitor consent choice (granted / denied / partial).365 daysNecessary: remembers your choice

All of these are first-party cookies, readable only by aveniq.co. They hold random identifiers and site-visit details, never your name or contact details. If your browser blocks cookies, the same identifiers may be kept in its local storage (_avq_pvid_ls, _avq_sid_ls) under the same rules. A momentary test cookie (__avq_t) checks that cookies work and is deleted immediately. Aveniq staff who sign in to our internal analytics console also receive sign-in security cookies; site visitors do not.

Your choices

  • EEA and UK visitors see a cookie notice on arrival. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
  • Everyone can accept or reject at any time with (also in the site footer). Rejecting deletes our analytics cookies and stops collection from that browser.
  • Your browser can also block or delete cookies. The site will still work.
